Biologist / Project Manager
Mr. Little is a Biologist and Project Manager responsible for the coordination of field efforts for environmental compliance projects. His projects include the monitoring of energy exploration and development activities, vegetation surveys, wetland delineations, and threatened and endangered species surveys. Chris also assists with report preparation, data management, and project planning. Mr. Little is a graduate of Texas A&M University at Galveston, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marine sciences. While at Texas A&M, Chris was active in the student senate, serving as both Vice President and President of Student Body Academic Affairs. After graduating, Chris attended the Florida Institute of Technology, earning a master’s degree in environmental science. Chris and his wife Misti then moved to south Florida, where he worked as an environmental scientist for a prominent engineering and environmental consulting firm. Mr. Little’s primary responsibilities included the monitoring, adjustment, and management of a prototype ammonia groundwater remediation system at Biscayne Landing (formerly the Munisport Landfill). Chris has also worked as a case manager for numerous ExxonMobil petroleum service station environmental monitoring and remediation activities. In 2010 and 2011, Chris and Misti hiked the entire Appalachian and Florida Trail systems (covering 2,179.4 and 1,100 miles, respectively) in a one-year period. While in Florida, Chris rediscovered tall ladies’-tresses orchid (Cyclopogon elatus), which until that time had not been documented in the U.S. since 1980. Mr. Little is an active outdoor enthusiast and photographer.

Lisa Hord, Errin Bryner, Krystal Villanueva,

DESCO’s administrative team consists of Lisa Hord, Errin Bryner, Krystal Villanueva, and Paige Hampton. Lisa is the Office Manager and is responsible for processing invoices, accounts receivable, and banking. Errin is the Business Development Manager and is responsible for client relations, payroll, and graphics. Krystal joined the DESCO team in 2014 as an Office Assistant and her responsibilities include reception, travel arrangements, and equipment management. Paige joined DESCO in 2014 as an Office Administrator and takes care of accounts payable as well as assists with accounting and editing.
