DESCO Volunteers Attend Galveston Island Nature Tourism Council's Big Reef Cleanup

3/11/2014: Arthur Perkins, Roman Mayo, and Trevor Seekamp assisted the Galveston Island Nature Tourism Council (GINTC) with their Big Reef Clean Up at the East End Lagoon of Galveston Bay sponsored by Samson Energy. "Working with volunteer students from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA, to remove litter from the beach and wetland at the Big Reef was inspiring. It was great to see everyone getting involved in caring for our local ecology.” -Trevor Seekamp
