Blue Marble Geographics User Conference

3/1/16: DESCO’s GIS Specialist, Misti Little, attended a one-day GIS user conference in Houston hosted by Blue Marble Geographics. This conference focused on updating GIS users about Blue Marble Geographics’ software capabilities, such as the latest release of Global Mapper. In addition, it was a platform for other GIS professionals to present their real-world use of Blue Marble Geographics programs and workflows. Misti was able to use this conference experience as an opportunity to plan how to expand DESCO’s current and future GIS abilities, as well as to network with other GIS professionals across various industries in Houston.
