DESCO Volunteers for Galveston Bay Foundation Booth at NatureFest 2015

3/07/2015: Arthur Perkins, Jackie Gilliam, and Roman Mayo educated NatureFest 2015’s attendees about the oyster shell recycling program and other GBF volunteer opportunities. Park patrons also earned a sticker for their Bingo cards when they learned about scallops, clams, Whelk, Cockle, and shark’s eye shells. One parent offered that “this booth was the most educational booth we’ve visited all day.”
